Thanks to the fresh orange and spirulina, every sip is full of iron, beta-carotene, vitamin C and fiber. The lack of fat and sugary fruit makes this drink more of a juice than a smoothie. But with summer nearly here, we’re all for powering up with something light and refreshing. Enjoy!
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup raw chopped kale
- 1 orange, peel and seeds removed
- 1/2 teaspoon of spirulina powder (try Bioglan Superfoods)
- 1 pinch of ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch of ginger powder
- 2 scoops of Protein Powder (Define by Vital Strength is perfect for women)
- Combine all ingredients in a blender until smoothe - simple and easy!
